Boro Bash is an all-day affair of, well, everything

Ladies and gentlemen, the Boro Bash is upon us.

Yes, the uniquely-Millsboro event that is Boro Bash will be taking place this Saturday, Sept. 17, at the Millsboro Little League Park. The festivities will kick off at 10 a.m. and roll straight through until 9 p.m.

That’s a long event, by any definition, but it is also filled with activities, food and entertainment.

There will be music played throughout the day, a Kidz Korner for children to keep themselves entertained and busy and a Millsboro Chamber of Commerce auction. There will also be a truck and Jeep show, a “Redneck Challenge” and a sidewalk chalk art contest. Throw in a cornhole tournament and wing-eating competition, and it’s easy to see that this is not an 11-hour event with nothing to do but wander.

The Boro Bash is unlike many events you are going to find throughout this, or any, community. Between the live musical performances, various competitions, arts and crafts displays, food vendors and children’s activities, there is literally something for everyone, of every age.

And the 11-hour window affords you plenty of opportunities to make time throughout the day to get on the scene and enjoy Millsboro in all its glory.

Again, the Boro Bash is taking place at the Millsboro Little League park from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17.
