The Friends of the Millsboro Library are preparing for their annual book sale. This year’s sale will take place on two weekends, July 29-30 and Aug. 5-6. A preview night for members will take place on Thursday, July 28.
Organizers noted that, each year, the sale has been extremely successful because of the thousands of books the public has donated.
“We are currently asking for donations of gently used books. In the past, our community has answered our call for fiction and nonfiction for adults and children. We are accepting hardback and paperback books on any topic; however, we cannot accept textbooks, encyclopedias, magazines and Readers Digest Condensed Books,” they said.
Donations will be accepted until July 1 and should be dropped off at the library on State Street during regular library hours. The library is opened on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Tuesday and Thursday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
