Lioness club thankful for support

Through the generosity of our guests and the donations from our supporters at the May 5 “Fashion Fiesta” event, the Lord Baltimore Lioness Club will be able to continue its scholarship program for both IRHS seniors and a continuing education nursing student at Beebe Nursing, in addition to its community support endeavors.

A tremendous thank-you to our donors: All About U Salon, Armand’s Chicago Pizzeria, Bear Trap Dunes Golf Club, Bethany Diner, Browse About Books, Cripple Creek Golf & Country Club, Curves of Ocean View, Cotton Club, DaVinci Italian Restaurant, DiFebo’s Italian Grill, Fat Tuna Grill, Giant, Good Earth Market, Grotto Pizza, Hocker’s Super Wash, Japanesque, Mary Kay Cosmetics, McCabe’s Gourmet Market, Miller’s Creek, Patti’s Hallmark Store, Pitter Patter, Roberts Repair Service, Sea Level Designs, the restaurant at Lighthouse Sound, Tidewater Physical Therapy, the Upper Crust restaurant, UPS (Ocean View) and Wild About Birds; extended thanks to Lioness friend John Persinger for his outstanding generosity.

An additional note of appreciation to our presenters, Dress Barn and Pineapple Princess, both of Rehoboth Beach, and our host venue, the Den at Bear Trap Dunes of Ocean View.

Since 1990, the Lord Baltimore Lioness Club supports not only the Lions International but also services local community needs in addition to the scholarship program. The Lioness motto is “We Serve.” New members are always welcomed. If interested, come join us at the Lioness “picnic” meeting June 3 at the Ocean View Presbyterian Church Hall (Central Ave.) at 6 p.m. Please RSVP to Lioness Lois at (302) 537-6069.
