Madeline V. McKay, 80

Madeline V. McKay, 80, of Selbyville, Del., formerly of Hyattsville, Md., passed away Saturday, Sept. 20, 2008, at her home. She was a self-employed Wholesale Auto Parts salesperson. She was very devoted to her family, especially her dear husband of 57 years, Raymond Joseph McKay. Very active in her community, she was a member of the Swann Keys Ladies Auxiliary and attended the Peninsula Community Church in Selbyville. She very much enjoyed her many friends.

McKay was preceded in death by her parents, Jadie and Maude (Hilton) Hager; her sister, Shirley Henry; and grand-dog, Amber. She is survived by her husband, Raymond Joseph McKay; four daughters, Deborah Clemo and her husband, Steve, of Baltimore, Md., Cindra Norman of Selbyville, Robin Ryan and her husband, Chuck, of Sykesville, Md., and Jo McKay of Jeffersonville, Vt.; four brothers, Durant, Van, Pete and Bryant Hager; a sister, Jackie Camp; six grandchildren, Christina Houck, Jennifer Haas, Steven Norman, Kenny Norman, Casey and Samantha Clemo; four great-grandchildren, Michael Carr, Evan Haas, Selena Houck and Hailey Haas; and two grand-dogs, Bagearah and Munchkin.

A memorial service was scheduled for Friday, Sept. 26, 2008. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Congenital Muscular Dystrophy Children’s National Medical Center, c/o Susan Sparks, 111 Michigan Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C. 20010-2970.
