Deborah Joan “Jersey” Veach, 47, of Millsboro, formerly of Camden County, N.J., died suddenly Friday Nov. 17, 2006.
She was born on June 20, 1959, in Camden, N.J., daughter to the late Sommers and Margaret (Foreman) Veach. She was a cook working in the deli at the Uncle Willey’s on Long Neck Road in Millsboro for the last three years. Veach seemed to know every customer that came into the store and thoroughly enjoyed cooking for them. She was a devoted mother who loved to smile and make others laugh. She enjoyed living near the water especially boating, fishing and crabbing. Veach was a recovered alcoholic and an active member of AA.
She is survived by two daughters, Christina Magliocco and Nancy Gilbert; a son, Sean Gilbert; two brothers and two sisters-in-laws Gary Veach and his wife Robin; and Steven Veach and his wife Rita; two sisters, Donna Conn and Patricia Veach; a grandson, Christopher Ervin; and two nephews, Steven Veach and Christopher Paluba.
Services and burial were to be private.
