Margurite D. Bright, 52, of Georgetown, died Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2006, at Bay Health Milford Memorial Hospital in Milford.
Bright loved to crochet, garden, cook and clean. She had been a bank teller for Wilmington Trust in Millsboro. She will be missed by all. She was a member of the Sickle Cell Foundation. She attended Mt. Vernon High School, Mt. Vernon, N.Y., and graduated in 1972.
She is survived by her husband, William L. Bright; children, Felicia Sarah Gilbert, Reneta Bright, Natina Bright, Lanier Bright, Angelina Watkins, Sheridan Gilbert, and Octavia Rattcliff; brothers and sisters, James Blackshear and wife Mary Ann; Gregory Dennis and wife Catherine; Virginia Dennis Ony and husband Milton Jr.; Gerard Blackshear and wife Gloria; and sister Carrie Williams; sister-in-law, Carolyn Blackshear; friends, Denise Johnson, Barbara Scott, Betty Gibbs and George Brown; several nieces and nephews and 10 grand-children.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Eugene Blachshear in 2000.
Funeral services were scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 4, at St. Johns Second Baptist Church, with interment at Milford Community Cemetery, Milford.
