Em-ings BBQ, a familiar site at the corner of Routes 113 and 610 in Bishopville, Md., just outside of Selbyville, has closed. The business, which provided its signature barbecued dishes and sides to area gatherings for decades, posted a notice in January on its Facebook page that it would be closing temporarily due to difficulty obtaining its spice mixtures. Shortly after, owners announced that the business would be closing permanently ‘due to health issues and retirement.’
