The Carl M. Freeman Companies announced this week the selection of Josh Mastrangelo as the senior vice president for the Rockville, Md.-based company. Mastrangelo will head up communities, land development and staff management for Carl M. Freeman Companies out of their Ocean View office.
Prior to being named to the position, Mastrangelo had served as president of Evergreens Homes’ Eastern Shore division for the past seven years. Prior to that position, he led sales and land acquisition for Pulte Homes in Maryland and Delaware. In both positions he oversaw the acquiring, designing, entitling and constructing of complex real estate deals.
During his career he has been involved in recruiting, training, supervising and providing performance reviews for staff.
“Josh’s extensive background in land development and knowledge of the market will help us execute on our strategic plan and drive growth for the Carl M. Freeman Companies,” said Michelle Freeman, chief executive officer. “This is an exciting time for the company as the Communities and Retail divisions continue to flourish. Josh will be a key member of our leadership team and will play a pivotal role in the next era of growth for our business.”
Mastrangelo earned a master’s degree in urban and regional planning and a bachelor’s degree of science in agriculture from the University of Delaware in Newark. He resides with his family in Lewes.
