Marjorie Toors Dutt, 77, passed away on July 18, 2018. She was born June 3, 1941, at Brooklyn Hospital in New York City and grew up in Bayshore, Long Island, N.Y.
Dutt was a licensed practical nurse (LPN) in Pennsylvania and Florida. She owned a horse farm in Unionville, Pa., where she raised race horses that participated in different derbies. She and her husband, Herbert M. Dutt, hosted the world president of Rotary International twice in Palm Beach, Fla.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Suzanne King and Elizabeth Libby Hale; grandchildren, Eli and Gage Hale; sisters-in-law, Alice Price and her husband, Barry Price, Betty Dutt and Joan Dutt; and brothers-in-law, Stanley Dutt, Donald Dutt and his wife, Canna, and Robert Dutt and his wife, Carol, all from the Reading, Pa., area.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, Aug. 4, 2018, at 11 a.m. at St. George Episcopal Church, Lewes, Del. Condolences may be sent online at www.melsonfuneralservices.com.
