Donald C. White, 78, born June 7, 1940, passed away on Aug. 7, 2018, in a peaceful environment at his home. He was born in Arcade, N.Y.
White graduated from the University of Buffalo, and for the most part of his 44 years as a pharmacist, he was employed at Rite Aid in Boothwyn, Pa. While living in Wilmington, White enjoyed going to concerts, swimming at the YMCA and walking in Rockford Park.
Following his retirement in 2003, he moved to Frankford, as he loved the beaches and Bethany Beach community. He enjoyed cycling and reading, and was a master at jigsaw puzzles. Additionally, when he was still able, he loved to go to the Bahamas and to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
Although he was shy, White made friends with all those he met. He had a wonderful smile and a very dry sense of humor, and he loved going out to dinner.
White is survived by his brother, Richard White; a sister, Kathy White and her spouse, Lyn Pezzulo; three nieces, Beth, Jordan and Suzie; and a nephew, Adam.
