Marguerite Capriotti, 85, of Millsboro, Del., formerly of Drexel Hill, Pa., passed away on Saturday, Sept. 1, 2018, at her home. She was born in Philadelphia, Pa., on Nov. 20, 1932, daughter of the late William Trasatti and Ellen (Bennett) Trasatti.
Capriotti graduated from West Philadelphia High School and worked as an executive secretary for Abbott’s Dairy in Philadelphia for several years and then at the radio station WIBG in Philadelphia. After moving to Delaware, she had worked as a cashier for Walmart in Rehoboth Beach, Del., for the last 12 years.
Capriotti loved to garden and was an animal-lover. She will be remembered for her strong and energetic personality, and her love and devotion to her family.
In addition to her parents, Capriotti was preceded in death by her two husbands, Michael Capriotti and Bob Ginder, as well as a grandson and her siblings. She is survived by her five children, Michael Capriotti and his wife, Frances, of Asbury Park, N.J., William Capriotti of Newtown Square, Pa., Mark Capriotti and his wife, Darlene, of Havertown, Pa., Matthew Capriotti of Riverside, N.J., and Kathleen Bertogli and her husband, Vico, of Toughkenamon, Pa.; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Capriotti’s life was scheduled for Sept. 6, 2018, at the Long Neck chapel of Melson Funeral Services in Millsboro, Del. Interment was to be private.
