It is with great sadness that the family of David Edward Ehrlich, 71, of Lewes, Del., formerly of Seattle, Wash., announced his passing on Friday, Sept. 14, 2018. He was born in Tulsa, Okla., on March 27, 1947, to the late David Ehrlich and Marie (Heflin) Ehrlich.
Ehrlich was a graduate of Russell High School in Russell, Kan., in 1965, and received his master’s degree in business management from Central Michigan University in 1992. He married Connie (Litz) Ehrlich on Aug. 1, 1975, in Manhattan, Kan. He worked for Martin Marietta Aerospace in Baltimore, Md., for 12 years, taught business at Oregon Institute of Technology in Klamath Falls, Ore., and, prior to his retirement, owned Gavco Industries, a custom office manufacturing company near Seattle. He and Connie moved to Lewes, Del., in 2014.
Ehrlich was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Ehrlich. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 43 years, Connie Ehrlich; their children, Jennifer Crew and David Ehrlich; daughter-in-law, Stephanie Ehrlich; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many close friends.
A private celebration of Ehrlich’s life will be held at a later date.
