Donald Charles Justice, 74, of Frederica, Del., passed away peacefully on Friday, Oct. 19, 2018, at Renaissance Nursing Home in Millsboro, Del., with family by his side.
Justice was born in Philadelphia, Pa., on June 25, 1944, to the late Memford C. and Dorothy B. Justice. He was raised in Lewes, Del., and attended Lewes High School. He worked many years in the sales department of Draper King Cole in Milton, Del. Justice was a disabled veteran due to contact with Agent Orange as a result of his military service. Justice was a U.S. Air Force veteran, serving at Dover, Del., Southeast Asia and Italy.
He loved growing up in Lewes and all the friends he made during his school years. Justice loved the beach, traveling, animals, writing stories and poetry and especially his family and Milford VFW friends. Justice was also proud of his military service and that of his brothers.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his life companion, Josephine Rawding, and his brothers, Gerald, Robert and Albert. He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer M. Justice of Richmond, Va.; brother, Rocky Justice and his wife, Sharon, of Millsboro; a nephew, Mark S. Justice of Georgetown, Del.; two nieces, Melinda S. Justice and Gloria Lanette McDorman, both of Millsboro, Del.; and several other nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and one great-great nephew.
A visitation and funeral were held Oct. 25, 2018, at Melson Funeral Services, Frankford, Del. Interment with military honors followed at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Millsboro, Del.
