Reader chooses to vote against NRA

It is time for decent and life-loving Americans to stand up for what is right. To stand up and not take any action to prevent another school children murder is unforgivable.

The election is two weeks away, and I ask every voter to call their representatives, both state and federal, and ask them their opinion on the national and local election, and the National Rifle Association. I think you’ll find that they either support them or are members.

They are against outlawing the two murder weapons that are killing our school children — the AK-47 and M-16, two guns that are made for mass-killings only.

They have been encouraged by Trump and Pence, who went to not one, but two, NRA conventions.

Their reactions were, “Oh! They’re good people.” Give me a break!

Twenty percent of them may be good people, but the remaining 80 percent are “not ’til my dying breath will I give up a single gun.” “It doesn’t bother me if they kill more school kids.” “They haven’t shot any Delaware ones yet.”

Make a stand against the NRA and the leaders in Washington. Sen. Tom Carper already told me he got an “F” from the NRA.
