Letters — Many thanks to those who supported cause

Editor:

Well, it was a rainy day to start, but it turned out to be a nice day. What made it even more wonderful was the great people that came out to support the Alzheimer’s Association at Lavender & Lace Antiques Appraisal Show. So many interesting items came over the threshold. Large rugs, vases, paintings and currency. Some ladies brought in jewelry that their mom gave them, which mostly was of sentimental value. We had more fun trying to guess which item was going to be the “big treasure.” It didn’t take Lavender & Lace Antiques and Gift’s owner long to figure out what the “big treasure” was. It was all the great people who came out and donated to Alzheimer’s.

Thank you to all that came out, brought in items to be appraised, joined our audience, enjoyed fun and refreshments and, best of all, helped a great cause.

Thank you to Steve Blumenhaur of Charlene Upham Appraisals for donating time and sharing his vast knowledge.

We don’t know which dollar will be the one to find the cure, every dollar helps.

Hope you come join us again for our 2019 Springtime Appraisal Day.
