Gordon M. “Boo” Law, 57, of Millsboro Del., passed away peacefully on Nov. 4, 2018, after a year-long battle with cancer. He was born Sept. 25, 1961, in Harrisburg, Pa., to the late George R. “Doc” Law and Elizabeth H. (Zebley) Law of Lewes, Del.
Law graduated in 1979 from Red Land High School, after which he enlisted in the Pennsylvania National Guard and went to Officers Candidate School, where his passion for supporting veterans began. He later went on to own a professional painting company.
Law spent many years volunteering with and coaching Red Land Little League Baseball. More recently, he was a second vice commander of Squadron 28, Sons of American Legion, and vice president of Frets4Vets. He loved life and enjoyed music, shooting pool, golfing and boating. He also loved his Villanova, Notre Dame, Redskins and Phillies, as well as his Legion and veterans.
Law leaves behind his wife, Kathy F. Law of Millsboro; son, Wesley A. Law of New Cumberland, Pa.; daughter, Devon R. Sprenkle and her husband, Scott, of Mechanicsburg, Pa.; brothers, George T. Law of Boise, Idaho, and Gregory Law and his wife, Denise, of New Cumberland; sister, Colleen Law of Lewes, Del.; and grandchildren, Alexander, Benjamin and Morgan.
Services to celebrate Law’s life will be held on Friday, Nov. 9, 2018, at noon at American Legion Post 28, 31768 Legion Road, Millsboro, Del.
