Anna Lee Hudson, 70, of Dagsboro, Del. passed away at home, with her family by her side, on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2018. She was born in Lewes, Del., to the late John H. Mitchell Sr. and Effie M. Dickerson Mitchell.
Hudson was a homemaker, taking care of her husband and children. She babysat for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she adored. She loved to cook — especially fried chicken and dumplings. She also enjoyed word-search puzzles and playing cards.
In addition to her parents, Hudson was preceded in death by four brothers, Sammy Mitchell, Kendall Warren, Donald Warren and Arthur Warren. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Terry Hudson of Dagsboro; four sons, Dean Hudson and his wife, Denise, of Harbeson, Del., Kenny Hudson and his wife, Lisa, of Seaford, Del., Wesley Hudson Sr. and his wife, Michelle, of Bishopville, Md., and Glenn Hudson Sr. and his wife, Sami Leighton, of Dagsboro; two brothers, John H. Mitchell Jr. and his wife, Ruth Ann, of Dagsboro, and Billy Warren of Leesville, La.; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
A funeral service was to be held Nov. 16, 2018, at Watson Funeral Home in Millsboro, Del. Burial was to follow, at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Flowers were welcome. Condolences may be sent online at www.watsonfh.com.
