Arneva M. Wolfe, 81, of Dagsboro, Del., died Dec. 20, 2018, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes, Del. She was born in Lewes on Aug. 5, 1937, to the late Ralph and Helen Brasure.
Wolfe lived in Clarksville, Del., for 20 years and moved to Dagsboro in 1982. She worked for NCR, and when they moved to South Carolina, she worked for Beebe Hospital, in the dietary department, until retirement. Wolfe was a loving mother and grandmother, and was a hard worker.
Wolfe was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, DeWitt R. Wolfe; three brothers, Elwood, James and Jehu Brasure; and a sister, Doreta Tull. She is survived by three daughters, Deborah L. Hall and her husband, Clay A. Hall, of Dagsboro, Joyce A Wooters and her husband, Glenn H. Wooters, of Greenwood, Del., and Rita Kucek and her husband, Micheal, of Dover, Del.; her grandchildren, Holly Hammond and her husband, Brandon, of Georgetown, Del., Melissa Collins and her husband, J.D. Morrill, of Greenwood, Cole Hall and his wife, Tiffany Steele, of Dagsboro, Brandon Kucek of Milford, Del., Ryan Kucek of Dover, Matt Wooters of Greenwood; and her great-grandchildren, Isaiah Wooters of Georgetown, and Payton and Braelyn Morrill, Isabella and Colton Hall, Hayden and Mike.
A funeral service and celebration of Wolfe’s life was to be held Dec. 27, 2018, at Watson Funeral Home in Millsboro, Del., with the Rev. Cliff Toomey officiating. Interment was to follow in Millsboro Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggested memorial contributions to Beebe Healthcare; 424 Savannah Rd.; Lewes, DE 19958 for the Palliative Care Program.
