Robert M. Olohan Sr., 66 of Ocean View, Del., passed away Thursday, Dec. 27, 2018. Born in Portsmouth Naval Hospital in Portsmouth, Va., he grew up and lived in Newark, N.J., for 36 years.
He worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 40 years, living in Beachwood, N.J., Superior, Colo., Evergreen Colo., and Owings, Md., before retiring in 2014.
Olohan was preceded in death by his father, Robert E. Olohan. Surviving him are his mother, Claire Olohan of Toms River, N.J.; three children, Maureen Vicari and her husband, Sal, of Manahawkin, N.J., Tara Esteves and her husband, Joseph, of Newark, N.J., and Robert M. Olohan Jr. and his wife, Laura, of Harrison, N.J.; four grandchildren, Joseph, Jake, Robert and Violet; his brothers, Richard and his wife, Catherine, of North Arlington, N.J., and William and his wife, Catherine, of Iselin, N.J.; his sister, Eileen Geraci, and her husband, Frankie, of Stillwater, N.J.; and his companion, Connie Schultz of Ocean View, Del.
