Effective Jan. 2, attorney Stephen Price Norman has joined Schwartz & Schwartz, Attorneys at Law, the company announced this week.
Norman has practiced law for more than 20 years. He has his own law firm — the Norman Law Firm, with offices in Dagsboro and Bethany Beach. He is a former county attorney in Maryland.
Schwartz & Schwartz representatives noted that Norman is not closing up shop — he is joining forces with Schwartz & Schwartz, in addition to practicing in his own firm in an “of counsel” or “special trial counsel” position.
“This is like getting the S&S franchise,” said Schwartz & Schwartz Managing Partner Ben Schwartz. “We recognize that you have incredible experience, you get outstanding results in your jury trials, and your clients love you. We said, ‘Let’s join forces,’ and Stephen said, ‘Yes.’”
Company representatives said the collaboration will benefit Schwartz & Schwartz clients in eastern Sussex County and the easternmost part of the Eastern Shore of Maryland — the Route 1 corridor between Lewes/Rehoboth on down to Ocean City, Md., as well as the Route 113 corridor from Georgetown down to Berlin, Md.
The cases that Norman will handle with Schwartz & Schwartz, they said, include serious injury and wrongful-death cases resulting from automobile accidents, commercial truck and bus accidents, motorcycle accidents, slip-and-fall accidents, medical malpractice, on-the-job injuries, construction injuries and the like.
Norman and his cases have been featured in national and local publications. Schwartz & Schwartz, Attorneys at Law is a regional personal-injury practice with nine attorneys. The firm maintains offices in Philadelphia and Havertown, Pa., in Wilmington and Dover, and in Baltimore and Salisbury, Md., as well as now in Dagsboro and Bethany Beach.
