Robin Lee Ann Clark, 64, of Millsboro, Del., formerly of Tacoma, Wash., and Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, Jan. 27, 2019, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes, Del. She was born Aug. 31, 1954, in Spokane, Wash., daughter of the late Lee Alan Whitaker and the late Flavia Ann (Halpin) Whitaker.
Clark graduated from Spokane Community College with a nursing degree. She was a pediatric nurse and loved her profession. She had been employed as a nurse with Pediatric & Adolescent Center in Milton, Del., since July of 2008. Her patients’ parents always said, “She gave the best shots.” Her love for nursing and providing care to children overlapped into her personal life as well. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She loved living near the beach and enjoyed attending the local festivals in the area. She also loved her coffee and anything with chocolate. She will be remembered for her unselfish, giving and positive personality.
Clark is survived by her daughter, Julie Dryden and her husband, Jay, of Millsboro, Del.; four grandchildren, Trinity Wilson, Nevaeh Wilson, Ethan Wilson and Amylea Dryden; a brother, Brian Alan Whitaker of Spokane, Wash.; and two nephews, Grant Whitaker of Spokane and Corbin Whitaker of Portland, Ore.
A celebration of Clark’s life was to be held Feb. 1, 2019, at the Long Neck Chapel of Melson Funeral Services in Millsboro, Del. Interment was to be private. Condolences may be sent online at www.melsonfuneralservices.com.
