Mack Lamar Davis Jr., 42, of Frankford, Del., passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2019, due to a lifetime illness. He can now be with his mom, Patti Meyers, who passed away on Oct. 22, 2018.
Davis attended Indian River High School in Dagsboro, Del. He loved going to Wawa with his mom to get coffee and watch all the excitement in the parking lot. He was a loving person with a very big heart. He would also tell you like it is. He was a Washington Redskins fan and was an all-around great guy.
In addition to his mother, Davis was also preceded in death by his nephew Fhillip John Wilkerson, who passed on Oct. 18, 2011, as well as his dog, Butterball. He is survived by his sisters, Sonya Rogers and her husband, Frank Coffin, of Willards, Md., Lorraine Lynch and her husband, Mike Truitt, of Frankford, and Sherry Johnson of Florida; his brothers, Greg Davis and Darren Davis of Florida; his father, Mack Davis Sr., also of Florida; his nephews Frank Wilkerson of Pittsville, Md., Freddy Wilkerson of Millsboro, Del., Jeffrey Stevens of South Carolina and Travis Hall of Selbyville, Del.; his nieces, Marissa Lynch of Baltimore, Md., Mariah Lynch of Selbyville and Reva Coffin of Ohio; a very special great-niece, Mazzie; special friends Cia Webber, Lloyd Collick and Michael Townsends; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
