Michael Clark Lasher, 55, passed away in his sleep, at home in Millsboro, Del., on Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2019. He was born April 8, 1963, and lived his entire life in Millsboro.
As well as working in the family business, Lasher was a lifelong advocate for all things living. He was dedicated Catholic and devoted his life to his belief in Christ.
Lasher was preceded in death by his parents, Hiram N. Lasher and Bertha V. Lasher, and a brother, Steven H. Lasher. He is survived by his twin sister, Michele B. Lasher of Dagsboro, Del.; his sisters Sandra L. Gordon and her husband, William of Inglis, Fla., and Denise H. Lasher and her husband, Sigmund Paczkowski, of Lutz, Fla.; his brothers Douglas N. Lasher and his wife, Carolyn, of Decatur, Ala., and Hiram Dennis Lasher and his wife, Debbie Case-Lasher, of Millsboro; a nephew, Sean D. Lasher and his wife, Lisa; his nieces, Elizabeth L. Wehnes, and Sarah L. Fox and her husband, Stephen; a great-nephew, Hiram S. Lasher; many cousins; and two aunts, Betty V. Decker and Evelyn K. Lasher, both of New York.
A funeral Mass was to be held Monday, Feb. 4, 2019, at Mary Mother of Peace Church in Millsboro, Del., with internment to follow at Millsboro Cemetery.
