Dinner with truffle chef Carlo Zarri

Italian chef Carlo Zarri visited Café on 26  in Ocean View on Friday, Feb. 1, to treat locals to a truffle and hazelnut dinner. The world-reknowned chef shared a grilled halibut dish topped with a truffle aioli, a tomato soup with purple potato and shaved truffle, a risotto with shaved truffle and his signature beef tenderloin (Sophia Loren). Dessert included hazelnuts and chocolate puff pastry with strawberry, vanilla ice-cream and whipped cream.
