Delaware State Police this week released the identity of a woman whose body was found near the Indian River Inlet on Tuesday, Feb. 12.
Surfers discovered the body of Amy Conrad, 48, of Lewes, which had washed up on the beach near the north side of the inlet, according to police reports. State police assisted Department of Natural Resources Division of Fish & Wildlife officers at the scene.
Conrad’s body was turned over to the Delaware Division of Forensic Science for an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of her death.
State police said that, at this time, there was no suspicious activity believed to be involved in Conrad’s death.
