The Delaware State Police this week were investigating a shots-fired incident that occurred sometime early Sunday, Feb. 17, near Dagsboro.
Around 3:06 p.m., police said, DSP troopers were dispatched to Colony Drive in Bay Colony for a criminal-mischief complaint. Upon arrival, troopers met with an 18-year-old man who they said advised them that there had been a party at his residence on Saturday evening into Sunday morning.
Police said that the man had told them that, after the party had dispersed around 1 a.m., he had discovered that a vehicle that was parked in the driveway and that the exterior of the residence had sustained a bullet hole.
There were no reports of injury as a result of the incident. There was no suspect information available early this week, and the case remained under investigation.
