A response to a guest column

Editor:

I read the [guest column] in the Coastal Point of Feb. 1, 2019, page 16, titled “Proposed state bills designed to shame and intimidate women.”

If a woman truly believes, and it is the law, that ending the life of her unborn child is the right thing to do, then why would she be ashamed and intimidated?

I am a retired delivery room nurse and also a retired psychiatric nurse. These unborn babies are human beings and should be protected.

You also did not mention the father. Who’s about his rights as a parent?
