Letter: Legion dinner a hit, thanks to many
The chicken-and-dumpling dinner at the American Legion Post 24 in Dagsboro was a huge success, thanks to the dedicated volunteers who worked very hard. We are truly grateful to the community who supported us in this effort.
Special thanks to Kerin Magill for the wonderful article you wrote, “Old-School Cookin’,” for the Coastal Point. It boosted our sales and hope that next season even more people come to feast on our dinner.
We, as Legionnaires, thank everyone for their support. We are here to help fellow veterans and the community. Your support helps make this possible.
Billy J. Hitchens, Commander
