Albert F. ‘Butch’ Losink, 68, of Dagsboro, Del., formerly of Croydon, Pa., passed away peacefully, with his family around him, on Sunday, March 3, 2019, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes, Del. He was born in Philadelphia, Pa., on Aug. 5, 1950.
He retired from work as a commercial print operator after 40 years of service. He also served in the Vietnam War as a crew chief with the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Bethany Beach (Del.) Volunteer Fire Company and Mason Dixon VFW Post 7234 in Ocean View, Del. He also enjoyed going to the beach with his girls and loved watching his Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies.
Losink is survived by his wife of 47 years, Margaret; his seven daughters, Lori Moore and her husband, Billy, Gina Karimalis and her husband, Kostas, Jenny Vonbrandt, Linda Wilkerson and her husband, Steve, Margaret Mary White and her husband, Vince, Rosemary Longley and her husband, Dom, Theresa Hamm and her husband, Dave; a granddaughter whom he raised, Samantha Vonbrandt; and four granddaughters and seven grandsons.
A prayer service was to be held March 11, 2019, at Melson Funeral Services in Frankford, Del. Interment with military honors was to follow at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Millsboro, Del.
