Walter T. Decyk Jr., 72, of Millsboro, Del., formerly of Wilmington, Del., passed away on March 4, 2019. He was born in Wilmington on Dec. 9, 1946, son of the late Walter T. Decyk Sr. and the late Idella (Hand) Decyk.
Decyk was a graduate of Salesianum High School in Wilmington and spent his entire career at Dell-Steel as a tool maker.
He enjoyed life near the water. He loved to fish, crab and go to the local boat shows. Decyk was an enthusiastic sport fan of all Philadelphia, Pa., sports teams, especially the Eagles. He also enjoyed eating at the various restaurants throughout the area.
Decyk is survived by two children, Walter T. Decyk III and his partner, Joseph Freeman, of Millsboro, and Kelly Ann Decyk and her fiancé, William Arnold, of Milton, Del.; four grandchildren, Jacob, Luke, Helaina and Ava; two sisters, Elizabeth Hannah and Diane Decyk; two nephews, George and Michael Hannah; and the mother of his two children, Elaine Sharp.
