A response to March 21 editorial on Dagsboro

Editor:

Yes, things are moving forward in Dagsboro! I think I can speak for the members of the Dagsboro Business Alliance (DBA) when I say, thank you for the positive response to Dagsboro’s ever-growing community.

What else is new and exciting in this small town? The DBA continues to expand and improve, and has just selected its officers and finalized its dues to become a formal and focused organization. We are working toward our mission of meeting the needs of local businesses, promoting community partnerships and assisting in growing the economy of Dagsboro.

We envision a continually revitalizing town, while encouraging the growth of small businesses and the relationships of surrounding individuals. With members of the DBA including historic businesses that have been around for 70-plus years, as well as new and trendy “mom-and-pop”-type shops, and even reputable non-profits, we look forward to sharing what Dagsboro has to offer. Shop Dagsboro!

The DBA meets the third Thursday of every month at 6 p.m. at Dagsboro Days. Contact dagsborodayscs@gmail.com for more information. We are currently working on the second annual Dagsboro Night Out event on Aug. 6, in partnership with the local law enforcement and the Town of Dagsboro.
