Knights of Columbus sponsor Catholic Citizenship Essay Contest at MBS

The Knights of Columbus, Bishop Burke Council, recently sponsored their annual Catholic Citizenship Essay Contest for eighth-grade students at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic School in Berlin, Md. The topic for the essay was, “How does my family show our Catholic faith in action?”

“We congratulate all our students for their entries and especially congratulate the following students whose entries were selected for special recognition,” MBS representatives said.

Mia Diehl won first place, Julia Carlson won second place and Sandra Pawlowska won third place. Each winning student received a cash prize and certificate.

“MBS is grateful to the Knights of Columbus, Bishop Burke Council, for offering this unique opportunity to our students.”
