Margaret M. Losink, 65, of Dagsboro, Del., formerly of Croydon, Pa., passed away from a broken heart on Saturday, April 27, 2019, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes, Del.
She was born in Philadelphia, Pa., on June 21, 1953. She stayed home taking care of her seven girls.
Losink was a member of the Bethany Beach Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary for 16 years. She loved spending time with her husband, “Butch” and all her girls and grandchildren. Losink also enjoyed cooking, baking and sewing. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Losink was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Albert “Butch” Losink. She is survived by her seven daughters, Lori Moore and her husband, Billy, Gina Karimalis and her husband, Kostas, Jenny Vonbrandt, Linda Wilkerson and her husband, Steve, Margaret Mary White and her husband, Vince, Rosemary Longley and her husband, Dom, and Theresa Hamm and her husband, Dave; a granddaughter who she raised, Samantha Vonbrandt; four granddaughters and seven grandsons; and five siblings, Joseph McFadden and his wife, Mary, Leon McFadden and his wife, Evelyn, Regina Gartner, Cathy Brown and her husband, Rick, and Bernadette Hargrave and her husband, Jim.
A prayer service will be held at noon, with visitation at 11 a.m., on Monday, May 6, 2019, at Melson Funeral Services, 43 Thatcher Street, Frankford, Del. Interment will follow at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Millsboro, Del.
