BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT PUBLIC NOTICE
The Board of Adjustment of the Town of Bethany Beach will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in the Bethany Beach Town Hall, 214 Garfield Parkway in Bethany Beach, Delaware.
The purpose of the hearing is to consider the following:
An application for variances, filed by property owners David S., Elizabeth J. and Lori Thorman and Lynn Kelly, for the property identified as Block 28, Lot 91, at 611 Sixth Street, in the R-1 Residential Zoning District. The applicants are seeking three variances from Chapter 425, Appendix 3, Table of Dimensional Requirements for a 3.9 foot encroachment into a required side yard (left side), a 1.3 foot encroachment into a side yard (right side) and a 0.7 foot encroachment into a side yard by an accessory structure (right side).
The application may be inspected in the office of the Building Inspector, 214 Garfield Parkway, Bethany Beach, Delaware, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, except scheduled Holidays.
All interested persons are hereby notified to be present and to attend this hearing where said Board may make a determination on the application, Said Board without further notice may adjourn such hearing from time to time.
The Board may recess for good reason on the announced day and reconvene on another day to continue the hearing; in such a case, the announcement of the date and time of reconvening will constitute sufficient public notice.
