Paul Christopher Woodward, 82, of Millsboro, Del., died Sunday, May 12, 2019, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes, Del. He was born in Wilmington, Del., son of the late Charles and Edith (Davis) Woodward.
He retired as a conductor with Septa. He was a member and one of the founders of the Railroad Retirement Club. He was also a U.S. Army veteran.
Woodward is survived by his wife, Elizabeth J. Woodward of Millsboro; five daughters, Elizabeth Vail, Celeste Rush, Catherine Forcinio, Dawn Anderson and Marla Thomas; four sons, Charles Wallace, Robert Wallace, Garth Giblin and Bruce Woodward; his adopted son and best friend, Marshall Harris; two sisters, Sarah Johnson and Florence Baccus; 20 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held May 17, 2019, at Bishop-Hastings Funeral Home in Selbyville, Del., with the Rev. Dr. Jim Van Der Wall officiating.
