Under the sway of the flower moon

May moons are called ‘flower moons,’ and the second full moon in a month is a ‘blue moon.’ Flower moons are called such after a Native American naming convention, based on its coincidence with the blooming of most of spring’s wildflowers. Tyler Valliant managed to snag this lovely photo of one rising off the coast. It’s not blue, and there’s no flowers in the shot, but we hope it brings beauty and blooms just the same!
