On May 5, Muhlenberg College held its annual Honors Convocation, designed to honor and celebrate leadership and scholarly excellence and achievement. The awards recognize select members of the faculty and student body for their contributions to the college, to their peers and to their disciplines.
Justin Revel of Millsboro, a member of the Class of 2019, received the Ann E. Wonsiewicz Scholars in Education Award. It is awarded to three students — a rising junior, a rising senior and a graduating senior — selected by the department from students working toward certification in primary or secondary education, on the basis of their academic achievement and potential for teaching excellence.
Revel was also among 67 Muhlenberg College student-athletes recognized recently for their performance in the classroom and on the field, court, track and course with selection to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll for the spring 2019 season. Each student-athlete must be a sophomore or higher in class standing and carry at least a 3.40 cumulative grade-point average.
