At the Millsboro Lions Club’s regular meeting in June, held at the Georgetown Historical Society complex, Past District Mike Mock of the Milton Lions Club installed the officers for the coming year for the Millsboro club. Mock also shared with the club information about ramp building and how some of the members of the Millsboro club have been active in helping with the program.

In addition, all members who have not served as club president were awarded life membership in the Lions Eye Bank of the Delaware Valley. The Millsboro club received recognition from Lions Club International for reporting in all years of the Centennial project and received a patch for their contributions to diabetes.

The Millsboro Lions will reconvene their regular meetings on Sept. 10 at the Ocean Grill in Long Neck with a visit from new District Governor Kenny Vincent of the Dewey Beach Lions Club. During the summer, there will be planning meetings regarding activities they hope to undertake in the future.
