Philip Andrew “Nick” Nicolosi, 90, of Millville, Del., formerly of Palm Coast and The Keys, Fla., and Severna Park, Md., passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Sunday, July 28, 2019, at his home. He was born in Garfield, N.J., on July 26, 1929, son of the late John Nicolosi and the late Rose (Guarino) Nicolosi.
Nicolosi proudly served his country on two tours of duty in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War, serving aboard the Missouri. He graduated from the Newark School of Engineering in 1956. He began his working career with Westinghouse, then went to Honeywell, then to Fairchild and Melco, before going into the manufacturers’ representatives business, owning New Era Sales for 20 years with his partner and friend John Ryder.
Nicolosi was preceded in death by his sister, Rosemarie Dorie. He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Helen (Wanko) Nicolosi; a daughter, Lauri Nicolosi Forbes; three grandchildren, Josh Myers, Becky Myers and Christina Forbes; three great-grandchildren, Isebella Armstrong, Vincent Forbes and Ingrid Forbes; and a sister, Barbara Pantalon and her husband, John.
