Town of Bethany Beach - Street Paving Bids



Sealed bids for the Town of Bethany Beach, Bethany Y2019 Street Paving, Project Number 2019-20 will be received by the Town Manager of Bethany Beach until 2:00 p.m., local time, on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at the Office of the Town Manager, Town Hall, 214 Garfield Parkway, P.O. Box 109, Bethany Beach, Delaware  19930, at which time they will be opened, read, and recorded. In addition, a mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. local time, at the Office of the Town Manager, Bethany Beach Town Hall.  Attendance at this meeting is mandatory for all prospective bidders and will be a pre-requisite for submitting a bid.

The work involves the furnishing of all labor, materials, transportation, tools, supplies and equipment necessary to make necessary roadway repairs on several roads in the Incorporated Town of Bethany Beach.

Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and shall be marked clearly as follows:  Sealed Bid - Proposal for Bethany Y2019 Street Paving.  Requirements for a 10% Bid Bond, 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond and Maintenance Bond, and Contractor's Insurance are included in the Contract Documents.

Each Bidder must deposit with his Bid security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instruction for Bidders.  The Town of Bethany Beach reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and make such award as appears most advantageous to the Town.
