Robert Marcelle, 56

Robert Marcelle, 56, of Millsboro, Del., and formerly of Pennsylvania, passed away suddenly on Sept. 5, 2019. He was born in Chester, Pa., on Jan. 16, 1963, to the late Edward R. Marcelle and Jean Brain Marcelle.

As the owner and operator of R.W. Marcelle Carpentry, he was a master craftsman. He was a NASCAR fan who loved shooting, baseball, woodworking and, most of all, spending time with his family. He also liked to have cookouts, and camping and traveling. He was fun, outgoing, and loved to talk and please people. He was a very hard worker.

Marcelle is survived by his beloved wife, Sandy; four children, Keith Marcelle and his wife, Lisa, of Aston, Pa., Jennifer Watson of Millsboro, Brandon Marcelle and his wife, Vicky of Aston, Pa., and Robert Marcelle Jr. of Winchester, Va.; four siblings, Barbara Markland and her husband, Chris, of Chadds Ford, Pa., Debbie McFadden and her husband, Hugh, of Chichester, Pa., Aleita Frieze and her husband, Fred, of Chichester, and Edward Marcelle of Milton, Del.; eight grandchildren, Teagan, Kenny, Brady, Bailey, Kayden, Brayden, Reygan and Sakura; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members; many friends and neighbors; his cat, Bootsie; and his “grand-doggie,” Sadie.

A memorial service and celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2019, at 1 p.m. at the River Church, 35175 Roxana Road, Frankford, Del., with the Rev. Bryan Sells officiating. Interment arrangements were private.
