DNREC to Hold March 21 Public Hearing on Proposed Invasive Finfish Regulations
DOVER (Feb. 19, 2013) - The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control will hold a public hearing at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 21 on a proposed addition to the state's tidal finfish regulations to include definitions and measures designed to control invasive finfish species in Delaware's tidal waters. The hearing will be held in the DNREC Auditorium at 89 Kings Highway in Dover.

Dover -- The Delaware Department of Transportation, through the Delaware Byways Program and community leaders, is promoting the Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad Byway and related activities as the state approaches the centennial anniversary of Tubman's death. "We're recognizing the courage of Harriet Tubman in her efforts to lead people to their freedom. We're also hoping to educate the public on the importance of Delaware as one of the important stops in the Underground Railroad," said Delaware Department of Transportation Byways Program Coordinator, Ann Gravatt.
