Nanticoke ready for annual pow-wow in Millsboro, Sept. 10, 11

The Nanticoke Indian Association will welcome people to the Millsboro area from across the United States and Canada this weekend, Sept. 10-11, for the tribe’s 28th annual powwow.
The yearly celebration delivers two days of Amerindian dancing, food and family bonding.

Murder in Long Neck

The Delaware State Police (DSP), Homicide Unit, charged Millsboro resident Aris G. Mouzakitis in connection with a double murder on March 28, according to a March 29 press release.

Mouzakitis, 53, allegedly assaulted his estranged wife, and her mother, with a hunting knife at his mother-in-law’s home in Pot Nets Bayside.
