Wayne A. Fuller, 84, of Seaford, Del., and formerly of Bethany Beach, Del., passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017. He was born in Baltimore, Md., son of the late Allen K. Fuller and Helen E. Fuller.

Marjorie K. Keener, 90

Marjorie K. Keener, 90, of Selbyville, Del., passed away on Monday, March 6, 2017. She was born Nov. 28, 1926, in Waynesburg, Pa., to the late Stanley Kuhn and Minnie Isabel Phillips Kuhn.

Steven L. ‘Steve’ Hudson, 55

Steven L. “Steve” Hudson, 55, of Millsboro, Del., passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2017, at the Delaware Hospice Center. He was born July 28, 1961, in Salisbury, Md., to the late George Hudson and Delores Welch, who survives him.

Angelo J. ‘Angie’ Massino, 92

Angelo J. “Angie” Massino, 92, of Bethany Beach, Del., formerly of Rockville, Md., passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, on Monday, March 6, 2017. He was born Feb. 9, 1925, in Washington, D.C., son of the late August Ralph Massino and Jane Catherine (Maggio) Massino.

Joan Paroni Neff, 84

On Wednesday, March 1, 2017, Joan Paroni Neff, 84, of Bethany Beach, Del., formerly of Washington, D.C., passed away, surrounded by family. She was born Aug. 6, 1932, to the late Francis and Regina (O’Lone) Paroni.

In 1956, she married John W. Neff, with whom she had five children before John died tragically in 1963.

William H. ‘Billy’ Reeves Jr., 72

William H. ‘Billy’ Reeves Jr., 72, of Selbyville, Del., died peacefully Tuesday, March 7, 2017, in the comfort of his home. He was born in Washington, D.C., son of the late William H. Reeves and Rose (Panella) Reeves.

Bruce Schoonover, 73

On Friday, Feb. 17, 2017, Bruce Schoonover, 73, of Bethany Beach, Del., died at his daughter’s home, surrounded by his family. He was born in 1944, to the late Robert and Mae Schoonover, in New York City.

Schoonover was highly respected in the telecommunications industry his entire career and enjoyed almost 20 years of retirement. In retirement, he and his wife, Sharon, loved to travel.

Claire (Kaelin) Sileo, 74

Claire (Kaelin) Sileo, 74, passed away on Feb. 21, 2017. She was born Jan. 26, 1943.

Byron Jay ‘B.J.’ Wright, 29

Byron Jay “B.J.” Wright, 29, the only son of Byron L. Wright and Vicky L. Norwood, was born on Aug. 21, 1987, and departed this life on Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at Beebe Healthcare, surrounded by his family and friends.

Robert P. ‘Bob’ Craig Jr., 67

Robert P. “Bob” Craig Jr., 67, of Georgetown, Del., formerly of Drexel Hill, Pa., passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2017, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Philadelphia, Pa., on Feb. 22, 1950, son of the late Robert P. Craig Sr. and Josephine (Schaffer) Craig. He had worked in property maintenance and construction before his illness.

Helen Dane, 90

Helen Dane, 90, of Dagsboro, Del., passed away peacefully on Monday, Feb. 27, 2017. She was born in Hungary in 1926 and arrived in the United States in 1957 with her late husband, Andrew, and their young son, Andy. She and her family settled in Dagsboro soon thereafter, when Andrew Dane was hired by Delmarva Power.

Joseph C. Diehl, 85

Joseph C. Diehl, 85, of Selbyville, Del., died Thursday, March 2, 2017, at Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin, Md. He was born in New Jersey, son of the late Joseph and Annie Diehl.

Diehl had been a truck driver for Yellow Freight Company for many years and was a member of the Fenwick Island Lions Club and Seaside Railroad Club. He was also a U.S. Army veteran.

Mary C. ‘Cathy’ Knaggs, 86

Mary Catherine “Cathy” Knaggs, 86, of Ocean View, Del., formerly of Bladensburg, Md., passed away on Feb. 22, 2017.

Knaggs was married to John, who preceded her in death in 2008. She was a mother to Susan Wilson and her husband, Rodger; John “Jack” Knaggs Jr.; Kathy Henderson; Elaine; and Steven and his wife, Cindy; and grandmother to Jason, Lisa, Brian and Jennifer.

Kathleen Lawler-Grimm, 69, of Millsboro, Del., passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2017, at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford, Del. She was born in Norristown, Pa., on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 1947, daughter of the late Thomas and Pauline Lawler.

Roberta ‘Bobbi’ Prettyman Lednum, 79, of Fenwick Island, Del., passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2017, at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Md. Lednum was born in Easton, Md., on April 15, 1937, daughter of the late Robert Davidson Prettyman and Elmyra (Porter) Prettyman.

Hunter L. Spillan, 90

Hunter L. Spillan, 90, of Dagsboro, Del., formerly of Annandale, Va., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2017, at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford, Del. He was born in Lexington, Va., on Oct. 9, 1926, son of the late Thomas Spillan and Frances (Wilhelm) Spillan. Spillan proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean War.

David Kline, 58, died peacefully at his home, surrounded by family and friends he loved, on Feb. 20, 2017, in Ocean View, Del. He was born Sept. 4, 1958, in Youngstown, Ohio, to Rita and Edgar Kline.

JoAnne M. McGowan, 66

JoAnne M. McGowan, 66, of Reston, Va., and South Bethany, Del., passed away on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes, Del. She was born in New York City, N.Y., on May 12, 1950, daughter of the late John Murphy and Eleanor (Tierney) Murphy.

McGowan and her family settled in Vienna, Va., when she was 9. McGowan retired from the Department of Transportation in 2005.

Kimberly J. McKenna, 57

Kimberly J. McKenna, 57, of Selbyville, Del., died Thursday, Feb. 9, 2017, at Delaware Hospice Center in Milford.

She was born in Baltimore, Md., daughter of the late Eugene McKenna and Florence (McCall) McKenna.

She had been an office manager for LEN Paper Co. and had worked for Brasure’s Pest Control in Selbyville.

Donald C. ‘Don’ Edwards, 82, of Millsboro, Del., formerly of Baltimore, Md., passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2017. He retired from a career as a Baltimore City police officer in 1999, after 32 years of service.

Ronald Joseph Filloramo, 76

Ronald Joseph Filloramo, 76, of Selbyville, Del., died Sunday, Feb. 19, 2017, at home. He was born in Washington, D.C., son of the late Thomas Filloramo and Eleanor Mary (Scaldaferri) Filloramo.

Kenneth E. Hoban, 50

Kenneth E. Hoban, 50, of Frankford, Del., died Monday, Feb. 13, 2017, at Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin, Md. He was born in Salisbury, Md., the son of Jeanne (Purdon) Hoban and the late Francis Eugene Hoban.

Hoban was a correctional officer at the Sussex Correctional Institution in Georgetown, Del. and was an avid arm-wrestler.

Betty L. Johnson, 84

Betty L. Johnson, 84, of Ocean City, Md., died Thursday, Feb. 16, 2017, at home. She was born in Baltimore, Md., daughter of the late Patrick Duggan and Virginia (Harrison) Duggan.

She was a homemaker and a member of St. Matthews By-the-Sea United Methodist Church in Fenwick Island, Del.
