Glenn R. Daughters, 76, of Dagsboro, died at Green Valley Terrace in Millsboro on Wednesday, April 26, 2006. He was a retired engineer with Washington Adventist Hospital in Tacoma Park, Md.

Anna Louise Hearn, 86

Anna Louise Hearn, 86, of Berlin, Md., formerly of Salisbury, Md., died at Friendship House in Berlin on Monday, April 17, 2006. She had been a secretary for Edgewood Pipe and Block Co. for many years and was administrator for the John P. Parson’s Home-Salisbury before retiring.

Albert E. ‘Gene’ Brewington Sr., 69

Albert E. “Gene” Brewington Sr., 69, of Georgetown, died at home on Wednesday, April 19, 2006. He was a splicing technician for 32 years, retiring in 1998 from Bell Atlantic Verizon.

Carl E. Beigler, 74

Carl E. Beigler, 74, of Lewes, formerly of North Wales, Pa., died at Delmar Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on Wednesday, April 19, 2006. He was an auto mechanic for 45 years, retiring in 1994.

Norman J. Weinelt Sr., 75

Norman J. Weinelt Sr., 75, of Selbyville, formerly of Pasadena, Md., died at home on Wednesday, April 19, 2006. He had been a financial manager for Westinghouse for many years.

He was a member of the National Rifle Association and was a Korean War veteran of the Air Force.

Mary E. Moore, 91

Mary E. Moore, 91, died at Berlin Nursing Home on Thursday, April 20, 2006 at Berlin Nursing Home in Berlin, Md. She was a retired line processor in the packaging dept. for Townsend’s Inc.

Linford Udell Fisher, 76

Linford Udell Fisher, 76, died in Smyrna on Saturday, April 22, 2006. He was a retired self-employed handyman.

He is survived by one daughter, Lisa Fisher; two brothers, Edward L. and wife Wanda, and George L. Jr. and wife Shirley; three grandchildren, Mike, Cody and Kaylee. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Mike Fisher in 2005.

Marian Rae Hill, 87

Marian Rae Hill of Lewes passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday April 19, 2006, in Lewes Convalescent Center. She was 87.

C. Wilson Hickman, 83

C. Wilson Hickman, 83, of Tallahassee, Fla., formerly of Selbyville, died at home on Saturday, April 22, 2006. He had owned and operated Wilson’s Amoco on 44th Street in Ocean City for 20 years.

He was a member of Zion United Methodist Church, near Bishopville.

Johnnie M. Beebe, 69

Johnnie M. Beebe, 69, of Georgetown, died at home on Monday, April 3, 2006. He was retired from Forest Oak School District, where he worked in the maintenance department.

Elizabeth Ellen Burton Smith, 97

Elizabeth Ellen Burton Smith, 97, of Millsboro, died at Green Valley Terrace, Millsboro on Saturday, April 8, 2006. She was a self-employed cook.

Ruth M. Watson, 79,

Ruth M. Watson, 79, of Bethany Beach and Alexandria, Va., died at her home in Bethany Beach on Thursday, April 6. She was a graduate of Middlebury College and attended the University of Michigan Law School where she met her husband of 56 years, George W. Watson.

Gary Lee Sagers, 52

Gary Lee Sagers, 52, of Dagsboro died at Beebe Medical Center on Thursday April 6, 2006. He was a millwright and former owner of Sandy Cove Campground in Ocean View.

Gary loved to work on his computer, enjoyed carpentry, reading, but most importantly was a loving and devoted husband and father.

Elaina Fritzinger, newborn

Elaina Fritzinger, newborn, of Millsboro, died at Beebe Medical Center on Tuesday, April 4.

She is survived by her parents, Brian Fritzinger and Hellen Leon; three sisters, Tiffany, Melissa and Briannah; one brother, Joey; grandparents June Fritzinger and Maria and Edgardo Leon.
Funeral services will be private.

Winifred E. Davis, 87, of Frankford, formerly of Pennsauken, N.J., died at the Harrison House in Georgetown on Friday April 7, 2006.

Norman McGinnis, 68

Norman McGinnis, 68 of Millsboro, died at home on Wednesday, April 5, 2006. He was a retired plant engineer for ATC Automatic Timing Controls, King of Prussia, Pa.

He was the president of Magnolia Meadows Home Owners Association in Millsboro, and a member of the Cape Henlopen Elks Lodge, Lewes. He will be missed by all, friends said.

Oscar Edward ‘Sport’ Harmon, Jr., 69

Oscar Edward “Sport” Harmon, Jr., 69, of Oak Orchard, died at home on Friday, April 7, 2006. He was an auto body specialist for Sharpless in Strafford, Pa.

Kenneth J. Pennell, 56

Kenneth J. Pennell, 56, of Millsboro died at Beebe Medical Center on Thursday, April 6, 2006. He was a self-employed welder.

He was a member of the Delaware Bowlers Association. His favorite things to do were to work and bowl.

Kielee Michelle Lewis, 25

Kielee Michelle Lewis, 25 of Parsonsburg, Md., died Saturday, April 8, 2006. She was a practical nurse for the Angel Network.

She loved taking care of people, especially the elderly and was a devoted mother.

She is survived by her father and his wife, William and Janice Lewis; a son, Dustin Lewis; a brother, Bobby Newman; and two sisters, Chelsea and Amanda Newman.

Carmela Mazzalonga, 89

Carmela Mazzalonga, 89, of Millsboro died at home on Friday March 31, 2006. She was a homemaker.

She was a member of Mary Mother of Peace Catholic Church in Oak Orchard; Order of the Sons of Italy in America; and the Italian Heritage Association. She loved corresponding, singing and reading.

John H. Byrum, 84

John H. Byrum, 84, of Roxana, died at Atlantic General Hospital on Thursday, March 30, 2006. He had been a self-employed painter for many years and was a member of the Salem United Methodist Church in Selbyville. He was a World War II veteran of the Army.

Barbara A. Truitt, 70

Barbara A. Truitt, 70, of Frankford, died at home on Wednesday, March 29, 2006. She was a homemaker.

She was a member and secretary of the Delaware Mobile Surf Fisherman. She was also a member of Frankford United Methodist Church.

Derek J. Hone, 62

Derek J. Hone, 62, of Georgetown died at home on Monday, April 3, 2006. He was a retired display manager for J.C. Penny for 42 years.

He was an avid stamp collector, and loved gardening and working outside. He was also a volunteer at Camp Rehoboth.

Mildred Wells, 85

Mildred Wells, 85, of Millsboro, died at home on Sunday, April 2, 2006. She was a customer services representative for Southeast National Bank in Linwood, Pa, retiring in 1983 after 27 years of service.

She attended the Community Church of Oak Orchard. She loved to cook, work puzzles and crochet.

Ronald T. ‘Britt’ Brittingham, 89

Ronald T. “Britt” Brittingham, 89, of Dagsboro, died at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital on Sunday, March 19. He was a business manager for Agriculture Retail Stores.

Charles J. Davis, 65

Charles J. Davis, 65, of Gumboro, died at Peninsula Regional Medical Center on Thursday, March 23. He was a mechanic for White Construction for 15 years.

He enjoyed fishing, gardening and cutting grass.

Virgil James Webb, 95

Virgil James Webb, 95, of Showell, Md., died at Atlantic General Hospital on Thursday, March 23. He had worked for Bunting’s Nursery for more than 35 years.

Margaret Jane Reed, 82

Margaret Jane Reed, 82, of Millsboro, died at Beebe Medical Center on Sunday, March 26. She retired in 1985 after 26 years of service as a charge attendant for the Stockley Center in Millsboro.

She was a member of Mary Mother of Peace Roman Catholic Church in Millsboro, a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post #7422, Millsboro. She received nursing school training in Salisbury, England.

Joyce Lucille Dale Bundick, 69

Joyce Lucille Dale Bundick, 69, of Millsboro died at home on Saturday, March 25. She was a custodian at Stockley Center, having retired after two years of service.

Harry Claude Hudson, 87

Harry Claude Hudson, 87, of Millsboro, formerly of Georgetown, died at Beebe Medical Center on Wednesday, March 22. He was the parts manager for Boulevard Auto Sales in Georgetown for many years before retiring in 1980.
