Leonard enjoyed building, counseling, kids, Westerns, teasing and playing jokes. He was retired from Mountaire Farms in the sanitation department.

Raymond Blake, 90 of Bishopville, Md., died Thursday, Nov. 2, 2006.

Blake enjoyed fishing, hunting. He was a hard-working, friendly and neighborly man, family members said. He was known as the neighborhood repair man. He would do anything he could for you and never charge for it, they said. He enjoyed raising goats, chickens and pigs.

She was a retired beauty shop owner and operator, and assisted her husband and family with the operations of the family farm near Lewes.

Catherine M. Davis, 83, of Millsboro, died Monday, Nov. 6, 2006.

Davis was a member of Dickerson Chapel A.M.E. Church in Millsboro, where she sang in the church choir. She and her husband had been in the truckers’ union. She enjoyed cooking, babysitting and watching baseball. The Orioles were her favorite team.

Richard L. Timmons, 85, of Ocean View, died at his home on Friday, Oct. 27, 2006, after a long illness.

He was the son of the late Violetus and Grace Malin Timmons. He was a graduate of Lord Baltimore High School, where he served as class president and captain of the three major sports teams, and later studied diesel engineering at Jordan Technical School in Philadelphia.

Shockley loved softball, ice skating and ice hockey. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and the Equal Rights Association.

Margaret L. Battaglino, 90, of Rehoboth Beach, died Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2006.

She is survived by a son, R. Wayne Battaglino; a daughter, Margaret L. Whalen and her husband Thomas J.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph in 1988.

Services will be private.

Charles M. Soucy, 78, of Millsboro, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2006, at the Beebe Medical Center in Lewes.

He was born in Central Falls, R.I., son of the late Charles Eugene and Eva (Donoso) Soucy. Soucy was a veteran of the Korean War, serving with the U.S. Army. He was a retired audio/video technician.
