Sylvia A. Williams, 93, departed this life on July 6, 2017. She was born in Middlesex, N.C. on May, 1, 1924, to Sandy and Lenda Williams.

Williams came to Delaware in June of 1948. She worked at several factories for years and retired in 1986 from NCR. After retirement, she became a senior companion and foster parent to many individuals. She loved to cook and sew.

Martha Ann Clogg, 80, of Dagsboro, Del., passed away in the comfort of her home, with family members by her side, on Thursday, June 29, 2017. She was born in Dagsboro on Aug. 20, 1936, to the late Chester Lee and Cordelia Brumbley Clogg.

Betty Johnson, 85, of Selbyville, Del., passed away on Friday, June 30, 2017, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, Md. She was born July 6, 1931, daughter of the late Arthur Thomas Williams and Daisey Virginia (Dennis) Williams.

She was a lab technician for Abbott Laboratories and a homemaker.

She loved music and delighted in playing the piano. She had the ability to hear a song and then play it by ear.

Ralph W. Yost Jr., 84, of Millsboro, Del., formerly of Limerick, Pa., died Monday, June 26, 2017, at Beebe Healthcare, Lewes, Del. He was born Oct. 20, 1932, in Pottstown, Pa., son of the late Ralph W. Yost Sr. and Grace (Eschbach) Yost.

Yost retired from the Teamsters union and enjoyed boat racing.

Carl graduated from Brown Vocational, in the Class of 1952. He continued his education at Temple University for engineering and was a devoted engineer at Dupont for 34 years.
