They moved to Illinois, Ohio and then to Chester County, Pa., where she spent her school years.

In 1956, she married John W. Neff, with whom she had five children before John died tragically in 1963.

Schoonover was highly respected in the telecommunications industry his entire career and enjoyed almost 20 years of retirement. In retirement, he and his wife, Sharon, loved to travel.

She was born in Hungary in 1926 and arrived in the United States in 1957 with her late husband, Andrew, and their young son, Andy. She and her family settled in Dagsboro soon thereafter, when Andrew Dane was hired by Delmarva Power.

Joseph C. Diehl, 85, of Selbyville, Del., died Thursday, March 2, 2017, at Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin, Md. He was born in New Jersey, son of the late Joseph and Annie Diehl.

Diehl had been a truck driver for Yellow Freight Company for many years and was a member of the Fenwick Island Lions Club and Seaside Railroad Club. He was also a U.S. Army veteran.

Knaggs was married to John, who preceded her in death in 2008. She was a mother to Susan Wilson and her husband, Rodger; John “Jack” Knaggs Jr.; Kathy Henderson; Elaine; and Steven and his wife, Cindy; and grandmother to Jason, Lisa, Brian and Jennifer.
