She was born in Perkiomenville, Pa., on May 9, 1935, daughter of the late Adolph Kozak and Anna (Budnick) Kozak.

David Martin Bloodsworth Jr., 49, of Lewes, Del., passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2017, at Delaware Hospice Center, in Milford, Del. He was born Wednesday, Sept. 6, 1967, in Salisbury, Md., son of the late David M. Bloodsworth Sr. and Mary Louise Bloodsworth Scott of Lewes.

Ed Deptula, 89

Ed Deptula, 89, of Long Neck, Del., passed away peacefully at home on Sunday morning, July 2, 2017. He was born in Wilmington, Del., on March 20, 1928.

After his stint in the U.S. Army during World War II, Deptula worked at General Motors, followed by the ownership of a successful liquor store. The remainder of his business career was in sales with Rich Wilson.

Robert P. Kannengieser, 88, of Millsboro, Del., and formerly of Long Island, N.Y., Scottsdale, Ariz., and Las Vegas, Nev., passed away on July 2, 2017, gently, in the care of his family and the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford, Del. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., to the late Lillian and Alphonse Kannengieser. He was married to his beloved wife, Alice, who preceded him in death.

Paschal D. “Bubba” Miles, 68, of Dagsboro, Del., passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2017, at home. He was born July 25, 1948, in Jackson, Miss., a son of the late Paschal James Miles and Vivian (Landrum) Miles, who survives him.

Miles was a pharmaceutical sales rep. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman.

Sylvia A. Williams, 93

Sylvia A. Williams, 93, departed this life on July 6, 2017. She was born in Middlesex, N.C. on May, 1, 1924, to Sandy and Lenda Williams.

Williams came to Delaware in June of 1948. She worked at several factories for years and retired in 1986 from NCR. After retirement, she became a senior companion and foster parent to many individuals. She loved to cook and sew.

She was a lab technician for Abbott Laboratories and a homemaker.

Yost retired from the Teamsters union and enjoyed boat racing.
