Anna Marie (Batter) Stanaitis, 91, of Delaware and formerly of Aston, Pa., died peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, April 20, 2017. She was born on March 14, 1926, in New Philadelphia, Pa., to Stanley and Helen Batter.

Stanaitis dedicated her life to her family in every way possible and in ways that will live on forever. Stanaitis was an accomplished seamstress, quilter and baker. She loved people and life, and she lived her life to the fullest every day. She was simply a kind and beautiful woman who loved unconditionally and with her whole heart.

Stanaitis was reunited in heaven with her beloved husband of 61 years, Robert; her son, Robert; and her granddaughter, Melissa McGroerty Fisher. She is survived by her children, Elaine McGroerty and her husband, Tom, John Stanaitis and his wife, Judi, Anne Marie Moor and her husband, Bob, Richard Stanaitis and his wife, Liz; her brother, Raymond Batter and his wife, Dorothy; her grandchildren, Jim McGroerty and his wife, Danielle, Edward Fisher, Genesis Reifsnyder and her husband, Eric, Jessica Toomey and her husband, Dale, Destiny Moor, Robert Moor, John Stanaitis Jr., Jacob Stanaitis, Jared Stanaitis, Rylee Stanaitis; seven great-grandchildren, Seth and Hannah McGroerty, Hunter, Chase, Landon and Cameron Reifsnyder, and Grayson Toomey; and many beloved family members and friends.

Family and friends may help celebrate her life and legacy on Saturday, May 6, 2017, with visitation at 12:30 p.m. and services at 1:30 p.m., at St. Francis DeSales Church, Lenni, Pa.
