Bambi E. Collins, 52

Bambi E. Collins, 52, of Lewes, Del., formerly of Bethany Beach, Del., passed away Friday, June 15, 2012, at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford, Del.

Collins was born Nov. 5, 1959, in Salisbury, Md., daughter of William and Doris (Kerr) Collins. She graduated Indian River High School in 1977 and had previously been an active member of the Millville Volunteer Fire Company. She enjoyed sewing, crafts and her animals.

Collins was preceded in death by her two siblings, Scott Collins and Brenda Showalter. She is survived by her husband of 23 years, James A. Nilan III; son, Colin J. Nilan of Lewes; her parents, William and Doris Collins of Dagsboro, Del.; a sister, Colleen Murphy of Dagsboro; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was scheduled for Saturday, June 30, 2012, at noon at St. George’s U.M. Church in Clarksville, Del.
