Bethany Beach Nature Center Earth Day celebration

The Bethany Beach Nature Center is holding its first Earth Day Celebration on Saturday, April 21, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the nature center at 807 Garfield Parkway (Route 26).

The Bethany Beach Nature Center Club (BBNCC) has been planning this event under the guidance of Lisa Daisey and Karen Knight since early winter at their after-school meetings every Friday at the Nature Center.

The celebration will include local business demonstration tables, activities/crafts, live exhibits, food, games and fun.

The event is free to attend and is sponsored by the Town of Bethany Beach and the Center for the Inland Bays. Organizers are urging those who attend to walk, ride a bike, or carpool in honor of Earth Day. Additional parking at Grotto’s side lot is available.
